Yamaha YZF1000R
The Yamaha YZF1000R was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1996 and 2001. It was known as the Thunderace in the European market. It could reach a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h). Max torque was 79.66 ft/lbs (108.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 97.89 HP (73.0 KW) @ 10000 RPM. The Yamaha YZF1000 was the precursor to the Yamaha YZF-R1 (R1).

EngineEdit
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 75.5mm bore x 56.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1002.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
DriveEdit
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
ChassisEdit
It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm conventional telescopic while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock Adjustable Preload, Bump And Rebound. The YZF1000R Thunderace was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 436.52 pounds (198.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.
