The Triumph Tiger ABS was a liquid cooled, four stroke, transverse three cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2008. Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 6250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 113.99 HP (85.0 KW) @ 9400 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1050.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 320mm floating discs, 4 piston radial calipers, ABS in the front and a Single 255mm disc 2 piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm upside down forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The wheelbase was 59.41 inches (1509 mm) long.
2008 Triumph Tiger ABS[edit | edit source]
Some riders prefer the peace of mind ABS brings to their lives and Triumph knows this only too well. So here's the ABS version of the 2007 Tiger, retaining all the acclaimed character of the model, but now with better stability on slippery roads and shorter braking distance.
The 2007 Tiger ABS is the same bike which can go pretty much anywhere. It can be a powerful and comfy commuter, a great getaway for weekend outings and by all means, it will be more than happy to carry you, your passenger and fully-loaded sidecases and storage on a 3-week adventure vacation.
