The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.00 - 21 front tire and a 4.50 - 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 140mm drum in the front and a 140mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 35mm Marzocchi telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable dual shocks. The wheelbase was 57.91 inches (1471 mm) long.

The 1980 MY Aprilia RC 250 has, at its heart, an air-cooled, two-stroke, 244cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 38 horsepower and 34 Nm of torque. This enduro machine addresses a wide variety of riders, from novice and young to the more experienced ones that prefer a more agile machine, rather than one with raw power. It comes standard with standard features such as a 35mm Marzocchi telescopic front fork, dual adjustable shock absorbers in the rear, front and rear Gimeca drum brakes, laced wheels, a dual seat and a race-inspired livery.
