The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90 - 21 front tire and a 140/80 -18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 270mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 240mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock. The RXV 450 Tuareg Rally Replica was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 58.9 inches (1496 mm) long.

The 2012 MY Aprilia RXV 450 Tuareg Rally Replica is a limited edition, performance-oriented machine designed and assembled by Aprilia's Racing Department, the same one that maintains the RSV used by the House of Noale in the SBK World Championship. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, V-Twin powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
It comes packed full of race-derived features, such as the 50mm Marzocchi upside-down fork with dual adjustment, an adjustable monoshock in the rear, front and rear disc brakes with a large, 310mm unit in the front, a small fairing, in the front, race-grade knobby tires mounted on laced wheels, and a race-derived livery.
