The BMW G310R was a single cylinder, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by BMW between 2016 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 89 mph (143 km/h). Max torque was 20.65 ft/lbs (28.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 33.26 HP (24.8 KW) @ 9500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 62.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 313.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple-disc clutch in oil bath, mechanically operated.
Chassis
It came with a 110/80-r17 front tire and a 160/60-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs. in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down fork , ø 41 mm while the rear was equipped with a solid die-cast aluminum swingarm, directly hinged monoshock, adjustable preload. The G310R was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.
2017 BMW G 310 R
In 2017, House Munich presented the new bike G 310 R. This is equipped with a single-cylinder, four-stroke 313 cc engine. . The tilt of the cylinder to the rear and the cylinder head that has been rotated 180° lowers the center of gravity and shifts it in the direction of the front wheel. Because of this, the G 310 R is more agile and easier to control. The low and longer swing arm ensures even more stability, without unnecessarily increasing the wheelbase.
