The engineers from the House of Munich have taken the G 650 to the next level of enduro riding, in the embodiment of the 2012 MY BMW G 650 GS Sertao. Unlike the base model, it sports a revised chassis, with long spring travels, wire-spoked wheels with light alloy rims, an extended top front wheel cover, a high windscreen, hand protectors, an aluminum engine guard, disengageable ABS as standard, as well as a special livery in Aura White/Arroyo Blue with Sertão lettering and a black/grey seat.

In the tech/engine department, it has the same dependable, 652cc single cylinder lump as the base model.
