The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320 mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 265 mm disc, 2-piston floating calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a BMW Motorrad Duolever while the rear was equipped with a BMW Motorrad Paralever. The K 1300 GT Executive Edition was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. It boasts standard features such as a rear trunk with integrated passenger backrest, a full-fairing, a adjustable windshield, lockable side-panniers, heated grips, a heated dual seat, a xenon headlamp, an on-board computer, as well as technologies as Electronic Suspension Adjustment II (ESA II), Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Tyre Pressure Monitor (RDC), and ABS.
In the engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, fuel-injected, 1298cc, transverse four cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, that reaches a maximum power output of 173 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque.
