2018 Benelli Leoncino 500

The Benelli Leoncino was a twin, four-stroke enduro / offroad motorcycle produced between 2017 and 2019. Max torque was 33.19 ft/lbs (45.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.53 HP (34.7 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 69.0mm bore x 66.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 499.6 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (DOHC).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet clutch.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-r17 front tire and a 160/60-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a upside down 50mm fork while the rear was equipped with a rear swing arm with lateral shock absorber with spring preload adjustment and hydraulic rebound brake adjustable. The Leoncino was fitted with a 3.57 Gallon (13.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 410.06 pounds (186.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.81 inches (1443 mm) long.
