The Bimota DB2EF was a air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Bimota in 1997. Max torque was 65.65 ft/lbs (89.0 Nm) @ 5700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 85.96 HP (64.1 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 230mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The 1997 MY Bimota DB2EF has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 904cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission and can produce a claimed 86 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque.

It also comes with features such as a 41mm Paioli telescopic fork, an adjustable Ohlins mono-shock in the rear, a Brembo braking system with dual front discs, a full-fairing with a windscreen, a single headlight, a single seat with lumbar support, plus an under-seat exhaust.
