The Cagiva Canyon 500 was a single cylinder, four-stroke enduro / offroad motorcycle produced between 1997 and 2006. It could reach a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h). Max torque was 30.98 ft/lbs (42.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 32.86 HP (24.5 KW) @ 6400 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 92.8mm bore x 73.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 497.8 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (OHC).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis
It came with a 100/90-zr19 front tire and a 140/80-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The Canyon 500 was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 363.76 pounds (165.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.6 inches (1463 mm) long.
