The Ducati 1098S Tri-Colore was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2007. Max torque was 89.99 ft/lbs (122.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 159.98 HP (119.3 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

Engine

A 104.1mm bore x 104.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1099.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, multiplate, hydraulic.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 330mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Ohlins fully-adjustable upside-down fork, TiN-coated while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins TTXR fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage.
