The Ducati Hypermotard 796 was a v2, four-stroke super motard motorcycle produced between 2010 and 2012. Max torque was 55.69 ft/lbs (75.5 Nm) @ 7700 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 79.25 HP (59.1 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 803.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the aptc wet multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi 43mm usd forks while the rear was equiped with a progressive linkage with adjustable sachs monoshock. aluminium single-sided swingarm. The Hypermotard 796 was fitted with a 3.28 Gallon (12.40 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 368.17 pounds (167.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.28 inches (1455 mm) long.
