The 2004 MY Ducati Monster 620 Capirex is a special version that was dedicated to renowned Italian racer Loris Capirossi, to celebrate his successful first year in MotoGP under the Ducati colors. Unlike the base version, it has been fitted with a double-sided aluminum swingarm, a higher ground clearance and seat height, a height-adjustable rear axle and carbon-fiber body parts, such as the front mudguard, the silencer head guards and panels.

In the engine department it is powered by an air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse, paired to a five-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive and can produce a claimed 60 horsepower and 53 Nm of torque.
