The Ducati Monster 796 Corse Stripe was a v2, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 2010 and 2015. Max torque was 57.53 ft/lbs (78.0 Nm) @ 6250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 85.15 HP (63.5 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 803.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the aptc wet multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis

It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm upside-down forks while the rear was equiped with a progressive linkage with preload and rebound sachs adjustable monoshock. The Monster 796 Corse Stripe was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 372.58 pounds (169.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.
