The Enfield Lightning 535 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Enfield between 1997 and 2002. It could reach a top speed of 78 mph (125 km/h). Max torque was 28.32 ft/lbs (38.4 Nm) @ 3000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 25.48 HP (19.0 KW) @ 5400 RPM.

Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plater.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The Lightning 535 was fitted with a 3.76 Gallon (14.25 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 54.02 inches (1372 mm) long.
