It came with a D408 130/70R18 63V front tire and a D407 200/50R18 76V rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 292mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 292mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The CVO Softail Convertible was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 64.21 inches (1631 mm) long.

Unlike its previous embodiment, this machine has received upgrades, such as the new, detachable compact fairing with a smoked windshield, the new, detachable, leather-covered saddlebags with genuine buffalo-hide inserts, a new, custom-leather two-up seat with buffalo-hide inserts, a new 18", chrome aluminum Stihger wheels, a new instrumentation panel and a new full-coverage wide rear fender and trimmed front fender.

It boasts news, as opposed to its previous embodiment, such as the ABS as standard, an electronic throttle control with cruise control, a detachable, fork-mounted fairing, with integrated audio system and an iPod nano, a chroem, 1.25" welded mini-ape handlebar, an extended jiffy leg which is easier to reach, and new paint schemes.

It comes standard with a chrome-welded, mini ape-hanger handlebar, custom stinger chrome wheels, a hand-finished fuel tank, detachable leather saddlebags, detachable passenger seat, a digital speedometer and analogue tachometer on the instrument cluster, a hydraulic clutch, electronic cruise control, a high-end audio system, ABS, full-length floorboards, and a detachable fairing.
