The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a D408F NW 130/80B17 65H front tire and a D407 NW 180/65B16 81H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 300mm discs, 4-piston fixed caliper in the front and a single 300 mm disc, 4-piston fixed caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The Police Electra Glide Emergency was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 63.5 inches (1613 mm) long.

The 2003 MY Harley Davidson Police Electra Glide Emergency comes with a rear trunk, which can be equipped with different tools or supplies, for a fast response in case of an emergency. At its heart lies an air-cooled, 1450cc, Twin Cam 88 Vibration Isolated V-Twin powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce 117 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. In all other departments, it has the same features as the base Police Electra Glide.
