The Hesketh Vampire was a Air Cooled, Four Stroke, V-twin, 4 Valves Per Cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Hesketh in 1984. Max torque was 78.19 ft/lbs (106.0 Nm) @ 5400 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 81.94 HP (61.1 KW) @ 6800 RPM.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 4.10-V19 front tire and a 5.10-V17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x280mm Discs in the front and a Single 280mm Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Marzocchi Air Spring Preload.

1984 Hesketh Vampire

Produced from 1983 to 1984, the Vampire was a touring version based on the V1000, featuring full fairing and optional panniers. Around 50 units were manufactured.
