The Honda GLX 1500 Gold Wing Sport was a Four stroke, opposed boxer six cylinders, SOHC, 2 valve per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Honda in 1994. Max torque was 110.64 ft/lbs (150.0 Nm) @ 4000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 5200 RPM.

A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1520.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed manual transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 130/70-18 front tire and a 160/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc 296 mm in the front and a Single disc 316 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Air adjustable telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Pro-link air adjustable.

1994 Honda GLX 1500 Gold Wing Sport

The Honda GLX 1500 Gold Wing was the first Gold Wing with a liquid-cooled flat-six engine with a displacement of 1520 cc. This type was available from 1988 until and including 2000. During this period the model remained nearly unchanged. In the year 1990 a special edition, the GLX 1500 SE, was introduced at the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Honda Gold Wing. This type remained available in the years thereafter. Since 1991 three different variants were available : the Interstate, the Aspencade and the SE.
