It came with a 130/90B16 67H front tire and a 150/80B16 77H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 298 mm in the front and a Single disc 298 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks. The bike weighed just 584.22 pounds (265.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.5 inches (1562 mm) long.

This is considered by many to be the flagship from the American brand, thanks to its excellent price tag and is perfectly suited for those riders who want to add a more personal touch on their machine. Standard features include a chromed, 2-into-2 exhaust system, a single seat, dual shock absorbers as a rear suspension, a front telescopic fork, and front and rear disc brakes.

The 2015 MY Indian Scout is one of the most accessible machines from the American brand. It comes standard with features such as a low seat-height, for a more comfortable, laid-back riding position, a high-end suspension package composed of an inverted front fork and dual adjustable shocks in the rear, black engine accents, a solo seat, a chromed, dual exhaust system and lightweight, cast-aluminum, blacked-out wheels.

In the tech/engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1130cc, V-Twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 97 Nm of torque at 5900 rpm.

The 2016 MY Indian Scout sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1130cc, V-Twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 97 Nm of torque at 5900 rpm. In addition, it features an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, for improved performance, whether up in the mountains or down by the seaside.
