It came with a 130/90-16 72H front tire and a 150/80-16 71H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 298mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS in the front and a single 298mm disc, 1-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The wheelbase was 61.5 inches (1562 mm) long.
2016 Indian Scout ABSEdit
The 2016 MY Indian Scout ABS is mainly addressed for those Indian fans that concern themselves more with their safety. It is basically the same model as the base Scout, but it features ABS brakes, which not only ensure a smoother braking, but also help with maneuverability.
In the tech/engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, 1130cc, V-Twin powerhouse mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 98 Nm of torque at 5900 rpm.
