The Kawasaki GPX 250R was a liquid-cooled, parallel twin cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder Sport/Touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2000 and 2003. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 13000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 45.06 HP (33.6 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

A 62.0mm bore x 62.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 100/80 16 front tire and a 130/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear.
