The Kymco Xciting 500 RI ABS was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Kymco between 2004 and 2017. Max torque was 30.54 ft/lbs (41.4 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 37.01 HP (27.6 KW) @ 8000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 92.0mm bore x 75.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 498.5 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-15 front tire and a 150/70-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs in the front and a single disc. abs in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks, upper and lower triple tree while the rear was equipped with a 5 position adjustable dual shocks. The Xciting 500 RI ABS was fitted with a 3.38 Gallon (12.79 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 462.09 pounds (209.6 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.81 inches (1570 mm) long.
