The Laverda 750 SF3 was a air cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Laverda in 1976. Claimed horsepower was 65.04 HP (48.5 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 743.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a gears transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50-18 front tire and a 4.0-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x280mm discs in the front and a single 280mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Ceriani telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swinging fork, Ceriani adjustable dual shocks.
1976 Laverda 750 SF3[edit | edit source]
The 1976 MY Laverda 750 SF3 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 744cc, parallel twin cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that can produce 65 horsepower at 7000 rpm. As its SF2 previous embodiment, it comes with Ceriani telescopic forks and Ceriani dual shocks in the rear.
Unlike its forefathers, the SF3 has received a new Brembo twin-piston caliper 280mm rear disc brake, as opposed to the 200mm drum, the lace-spoked wheels have also been replaced with more lightweight cast-alloy, five-spoked wheels, and a tail was added to the dual saddle.
