The 1976 MY Laverda 750 SF3 sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 744cc, parallel twin cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission that can produce 65 horsepower at 7000 rpm. As its SF2 previous embodiment, it comes with Ceriani telescopic forks and Ceriani dual shocks in the rear.

Unlike its forefathers, the SF3 has received a new Brembo twin-piston caliper 280mm rear disc brake, as opposed to the 200mm drum, the lace-spoked wheels have also been replaced with more lightweight cast-alloy, five-spoked wheels, and a tail was added to the dual saddle.
