Engine
The engine was a oil & air cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse 4 cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 921.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive

2011 MV Agusta Brutale 920
The Brutale family has been enriched with a new model, in the embodiment of the 2011 MY MV Agusta Brutale 920. It has at its heart a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 921cc, transverse four cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 129 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque.
The defining features of this new Agusta naked machine are the Magneti Marelli 5SM engine control module, the standard Traction control with 8 levels of intervention, the tubular steel frame coupled with aluminum side plates for maximum torsional rigidity, the single sided swingarm with a adjustable Sachs rear shock, the Marzocchi upside down 50mm adjustable front forks, the Brembo racing radial calipers and the new one-up seat that is both lower and narrower.
2012 MV Agusta Brutale 920
In its second year of production, the 2012 MY MV Agusta Brutale 920 suffered almost no change, it still remaining the fast and maneuverable machine that Gusta fans have come to love in its short life span. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 921cc, in-line four cylinder mated to a six-speed manual transmission, that produces 129 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque, and can be restricted from the factory to 97 horsepower and 87 Nm of torque.
In the aesthetics department, the House of Schiranna have opted for a more aggressive, blacked-out and youthful look, which is sure to appeal to the younger among its fans, and is available for purchase in either black or white color schemes, both versions with a blacked-out engine and frame and a bronze-colored exhaust.
