It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 280mm disc in the front and a single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a WP adjustable monoshock.

The 2006 MY MZ 125 SM Gangster sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 15 horsepower and 11 Nm of torque.
This machine boasts an aggressive design, with bold colors combine with a blacked-out overall look, which is sure to appeal to the younger among MZ fans. The rims boast a candy orange finish, as well as the rear fender and front fairing, and comes standard with a Marzocchi upside-down front fork, a WP adjustable monoshock in the rear, a front and rear disc brake and a dual seat.
