The Moto Guzzi 850T4 was a Air cooled, four stroke, transverse V-twin cylinder, OHC, 2 valve per cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Moto Guzzi in 1980. Claimed horsepower was 68.53 HP (51.1 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

A 82.8mm bore x 82.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 844.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 3.50 H18 front tire and a 4.10 H18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Discs in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telehydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm fork with hydraulic shock absorbers. The 850T4 was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank.

Moto Guzzi had concentrated on the production of 500 cc models with a horizontal cylinder , which is actually from the twenties descended. The company, now mainly kept alive by lighter motor bikes for commuting. In the late sixties had been designing a V-twin dusted and thus was the V7 series built.
