The Piaggio BV Tourer 250 was a liquid-cooled, single cylinder, four-stroke catalytic Piaggio QUASAR scooter produced by Piaggio between 2009 and 2011. It could reach a top speed of 80 mph (129 km/h). Max torque was 14.75 ft/lbs (20.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.99 HP (16.4 KW) @ 8250 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, single cylinder, four-stroke catalytic Piaggio QUASAR. A 71.1mm bore x 71.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 244.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive
The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automatic.
Chassis
It came with a 110/70, 16in front tire and a 140/70, 16in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 260 mm disc, 2-piston floating caliper in the front and a 260 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 35mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual hydraulic shock absorber, four-position spring pre-load. The BV Tourer 250 was fitted with a 2.56 Gallon (9.70 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 57.91 inches (1471 mm) long.
