The Suzuki Burgman 250 was a Liquid Cooled, Four Strokes, Single Cylinder, SOHC, 4 Valves Per Cylinder scooter produced by Suzuki between 1998 and 2006. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 23.07 HP (17.2 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a CVT transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/90-13 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 240 mm, 3 Piston Caliper in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, coil spring while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm,coil spring. The bike weighed just 286.6 pounds (130.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.6 inches (1590 mm) long.

The engineers from Suzuki have launched the 2006 the Burgman 250 four-stroke. It shares its innards with the two-stroke limited edition, except for its engine. It sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 250 cc, single cylinder mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
