The Suzuki GT185 was an inline twin, two-stroke motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1973 and 1978 and also known as the Adventurer. It could reach a top speed of 78 mph (126 km/h). Max torque was 15.2 ft/lbs (21.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM.[1] Claimed horsepower was 21 HP (15.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.[1]
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 49.0mm bore x 49.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 185.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin shocks. The GT185 was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 283.07 pounds (128.4 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.79 inches (1290 mm) long.
