The Triumph Rocket III Roadster was a in-line three, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 2010 and 2018. Max torque was 163.01 ft/lbs (221.0 Nm) @ 2750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 144.83 HP (108.0 KW) @ 5750 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line three, four-stroke. A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 2294.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.7:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan). Power was moderated via the wet. multi-plate.

2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster
Sporting one of the largest displacements in the production motorcycle world, the 2014 MY Triumph Rocket III Roadster comes with even more brute force in the first three gears, after all restrictions have been lifted from the engine. Its liquid-cooled, four-stroke,2294cc, longitudinal three cylinder powerplant produces 146 horsepower and a gut-churning 221 Nm of torque.
Also, the 2014 MY has received some visual upgrades, consisting of blackened radiator cowls, rear mudguard rails, airbox cover, fork protectors and mirrors, which make the already awe-inspiring machine even more so.
2015 Triumph Rocket III Roadster
The huge, massively-powerful, 2.3 liter powerhouse on the 2015 MY Triumph Rocket III Roadster produces 146 horsepower and a stomach-churning 221 Nm of torque, which can be felt even more in the first three gears, as a result of the removal of all engine restrictions. And even though the presentation video of the Roadster shows that all of its 320 kg of dry weight can be lifted up on the rear wheel, a sophisticated suspension system and a well-designed and balanced chassis ensure you remain with both wheels on the road, no matter the scenario.
And, to ensure that all that power can be safely contained and brought to a stop, the Hinckley firm have fitted it with 320mm dual front brake discs and a single 316mm rear disc break, also fitted with standard ABS.
