The Triumph TIGER 800 XC was a Liquid­-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-­line 3­-cylinder Touring motorcycle produced by Triumph in 2016. Max torque was 58.27 ft/lbs (79.0 Nm) @ 7850 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 94.94 HP (70.8 KW) @ 9250 RPM.

Engine

A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 800.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90­-21 front tire and a 150/70 R17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Twin 308 mm floating discs, Nissin 2­-piston sliding calipers, Switchable ABS in the front and a Single 255 mm disc, Nissin single piston sliding caliper, Switchable ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a WP 43 mm upside down forks, adjustable rebound and compression damping, 220 mm travel. while the rear was equipped with a WP monoshock with remote oil reservoir, hydraulically adjustable preload, rebound damping adjustment, 215 mm rear wheel travel. The TIGER 800 XC was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.79 inches (1544 mm) long.

Reintroduced for the 2016 model year, the Tiger 800 XC is almost the same with the 2015 model, but with a few changes and improvements. WP replaces the Showa suspension from 2014 and new for 2016, the XC has redesigned cowls to deflect hot air from the radiator away from the rider.
