The Yamaha DT 125RE was a Single cylinder, two stroke, liquid-cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1998. Max torque was 11.8 ft/lbs (16.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.02 HP (11.2 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Drive
The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis
It came with a 80/90-21 front tire and a 110/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 230 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear.
