The Yamaha XVS650A DragStar Classic was a v2, four-stroke Sidecar motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 1997 and 2007. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Max torque was 36.95 ft/lbs (50.1 Nm) @ 5100 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 38.62 HP (28.8 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 81.0mm bore x 63.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 649.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple disc.

Chassis

It came with a 160/90-(16 front tire and a 170/80-m15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
