The Yamaha Super Tenere ES was a twin, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2013 and 2019. Max torque was 86.3 ft/lbs (117.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 109.7 HP (81.8 KW) @ 7250 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 79.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1199.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi-plate wet clutch.
Chassis
It came with a 110/80-r19 front tire and a 150/70-r17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. antilock braking system (abs) and unified braking system (ubs) in the front and a single disc. antilock braking system (abs) and unified braking system (ubs) in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted fork; electronically adjustable compression and rebound damping; while the rear was equipped with a monoshock, adjustable preload and rebound damping.
