The Yamaha WR426F was a single cylinder, four-stroke Trail motorcycle produced by Yamaha between 2001 and 2002. Max torque was 29.5 ft/lbs (40.0 Nm) @ 7800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 46.0 HP (34.3 KW) @ 9800 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 95.0mm bore x 60.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 426.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 130/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The WR426F was fitted with a 2.11 Gallon (8.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 248.02 pounds (112.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.66 inches (1490 mm) long.
