The Aprilia 125ie was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, DOHC scooter produced by Aprilia in 2014. Max torque was 8.11 ft/lbs (11.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.98 HP (14.9 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-16 front tire and a 120/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc in the front and a single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The wheelbase was 54.29 inches (1379 mm) long.

The 2014 MY Aprilia Scarabeo 125ie has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and can reach a maximum power output of 20 horsepower and 11 Nm of torque.

It comes standard with a telescopic front fork, a rear monoshock suspension, front and rear disc brakes, a small windscreen, a dual seat with passenger grab rails, an under-seat storage compartment, cast alloy, large, 16", five-spoked wheels, and an overall design that reminisces of classic Vespa's, which is sure to appeal to the more nostalgic among Aprilia fans.
