The Aprilia RSV Mille R Factory was a V60 Magnesium four stroke longitudinal 60° V twin. Liquid cooling with three way pressurised circuit. Double overhead camshaft with mixed gear/chain drive; four valves per cylinder. Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Aprilia between 2004 and 2010. Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 142.95 HP (106.6 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a Spur gears transmission. Power was moderated via the Multi-plate clutch in oil bath with patented PPC power-assisted hydraulic control..

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR 17 (alternative: 180/55 or 190/50) rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Brembo double stainless steel floating disc, 320 mm, radial calipers in the front and a Brembo stainless steel disc, 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm Öhlins titanium nitride coated upside-down fork. 120 mm wheel travel. External adjustment system for rebound, compression and preload. Shortened fork bottoms with radial caliper fittings. while the rear was equipped with a Öhlins Racing monoshock with piggy-back cylinder, adjustable in compression, rebound, preload and length.. The wheelbase was 55.79 inches (1417 mm) long.

This machine is a more mellow version of the RSV Mille R, with a more affordable price-tag. It still comes standard with race-derived features such as a 43mm Ohlins upside-down fork, an Ohlins adjustable monoshock with APS, dual front disc brakes, and a dry weight of just 185 kg.
