The BMW HP4 Race was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by BMW between 2013 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Max torque was 88.51 ft/lbs (120.0 Nm) @ 10000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 210.41 HP (156.9 KW) @ 13900 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a oil & air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 80.0mm bore x 49.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiple clutch in oil bath, anti hopping clutch, mechanically controlled.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 200/60-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. brembo in the front and a single disc. brembo in the rear. The 2013 MY BMW HP4 is one of the most powerful production motorcycles designed by the House of Munich up to date. At its heart lies a new, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 999cc, in-line four cylinder powerplant mated to a six-speed transmission, that produces an impressive 193 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. Plus, it tips the scale at just 169 kg, including Race ABS, making it also one of the lightest machines in its class.

It features the latest, race-derived technologies developed by the German engineers, such as the Dynamic Damping Control, Race ABS, Dynamic Traction Control and Launch Control plus Shift Assistant. In addition, it comes with a light titanium exhaust system, forged alloy wheels, and a new, 200 mm rear tire.
