The BMW R850R was a twin, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by BMW between 1994 and 2006. It could reach a top speed of 116 mph (187 km/h). Max torque was 56.8 ft/lbs (77.0 Nm) @ 5600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 68.26 HP (50.9 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

The engine was a oil & air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 87.5mm bore x 70.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 848.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the single-disc dry clutch, hydraulically operated.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 160/60-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a double disc in the rear.
