The BMW R 1150 GS Adventure Bumble Bee was a air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, boxer twin cylinder, 4 valves per cylinder Adventure motorcycle produced by BMW in 2003. Max torque was 72.28 ft/lbs (98.0 Nm) @ 5250 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 85.02 HP (63.4 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

A 101.6mm bore x 101.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1130.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, single plate, hydraulic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/80xR19 front tire and a 150/70xR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 304mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 276mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a BMW Motorrad Telelever while the rear was equipped with a BMW Motorrad Paralever. The wheelbase was 59.09 inches (1501 mm) long.
