The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 54.0mm bore x 54.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.8 cubic centimeters. The engine features a 9.8:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-zr12 front tire and a 130/70-zr12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. 2-piston caliper in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down forks, 35mm while the rear was equiped with a rear swing arm with lateral shock absorber with spring pre-load adjustment. The 2016 MY Benelli Tornado Naked T has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 12 horsepower and 10 Nm of torque.
It also comes standard with features such as a 41mm upside-down telescopic fork, an adjustable mono-shock as a rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, aluminum alloy wheels, a two-piece, dual seat, a digital instrumentation panel, plus an under-belly to under-seat exhaust system.
