The Can-Am/ Brp Spyder RS was a liquid-cooled, Rotax 998 cc V-twin Trike motorcycle produced by Can-Am/ Brp between 2010 and 2015. Max torque was 79.66 ft/lbs (108.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed, manual or semi-automatic, both with reverse transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 165 / 55 R15 front tire and a 225 / 50 R15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 270 mm discs with Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a 270 mm disc with Brembo single-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a double A-arm with anti-roll bar, gas-charged FOX PODIUM shocks while the rear was equipped with a swing arm, SACHS monoshock. The wheelbase was 67.52 inches (1715 mm) long.
