The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder. OHC. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Multiplate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90- 18 front tire and a 130/80- 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 280mm disc in the front and a Single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Paoli monoshock. The Senda Terra Adventure was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.1 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 117 kg / 258 lbs.

For younger riders hankering for motorcycle adventure, but who may not
ready for their first Yamaha XT660Z Tenere just yet, Derbi may have an answer
the Terra Adventure 125.
The Derbi Terra Adventure 125 features Paris-Dakar Rally styling, 21-inch (front) and 17-inch (rear) wheels, dual-purpose tires, 41mm front fork and adjustable rear monoshock, and a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 125cc engine that makes 15bhp at 9,250rpm.
Those wholl want to undertake really long journeys on the 125cc machine can go for the optional aluminum sidecases and GPS system. The standard bike, now available in Europe, costs the equivalent of about US$5,800.
