The Ducati 1199 Panigale was a v2, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2012 and 2014. Max torque was 97.36 ft/lbs (132.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 190.83 HP (142.3 KW) @ 10750 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 112.0mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 12.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the slipper and self-servo wet multiplate clutch with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 200/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. radially mounted. in the front and a single disc. abs. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi 50mm pressurized and fully adjustable usd fork with hard anodized aluminum lightweight slider while the rear was equiped with a fully adjustable sachs unit. adjustable linkage: progressive/flat. aluminum single-sided swingarm.. The 1199 Panigale was fitted with a 4.49 Gallon (17.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 367.07 pounds (166.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.57 inches (1437 mm) long.

The engine was a liquid cooled Superquadro L-twin cylinder, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled. A 111.8mm bore x 111.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1198.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

The 2012 MY Ducati 1199 Panigale has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1199cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 195 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful twin cylinder machines available on the market, up to date.

It also boasts standard features such as a 50mm Marzocchi fully-adjustable upside-down fork, a fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage as a rear suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes with dual front discs, a single seat, a full-fairing with a windscreen, a MotoGP-style digital instrumentation panel, blacked-out Marchessini wheels with red pin-striping on the rims and an aluminum monocoque frame.

The 2013 MY Ducati 1199 Panigale sports a powerful, liquid-cooled, 1198cc, Superquadro L-twin powerplant with four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, that produces 195 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque. This two-wheeler is not only massively powerful, it is also safe and user-friendly, thanks to 21st century technologies such as the DDA+, ABS as standard, Ducati Electronic Suspension, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Quick Shift, Engine Brake Control, ride-by-wire and Thin Film Transistor instrumentation, as well as three selectable riding modes, Race, Sport and Wet.

In the aesthetics department, it features the trademark Italian thoroughbred design, as expected, and is available for purchase with a choice between arctic white or the classic Ducati red paint schemes.
