The Ducati 900SS was a air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Ducati between 1976 and 2001. Max torque was 58.27 ft/lbs (79.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 80.06 HP (59.7 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit]

A 91.4mm bore x 91.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 904.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, hydraulic.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 170/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Showa upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Showa adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The 900SS was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank.
