The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Light action, wet, multiplate clutch with hydraulic control. Self-servo action on drive, slipper action on over-run.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR18 Pirelli MT 60 RS front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 Pirelli MT 60 RS rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double discs 320 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo Monobloc M4.32 callipers, 4-piston, axial pump with Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment in the front and a Single disc 245 mm disc, 1-piston floating caliper with Bosch Cornering ABS as standard equipment in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi fully adjustable 45 mm usd fork while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba monoshock, pre-load and rebound adjustable. The SCRAMBLER 1100 was fitted with a 1.06 Gallon (4.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 59.61 inches (1514 mm) long.
