The Ducati Streetfighter 848 was a v2, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 2012 and 2015. Max torque was 68.97 ft/lbs (93.5 Nm) @ 9500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 129.27 HP (96.4 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

Engine[edit]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 61.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 849.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 13.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive[edit]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate with hydraulic control.

Chassis[edit]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/60-17 rear tire. This naked machine also boasts standard fittings such as a steel trellis frame, an exhaust system with dual mufflers, Marchessini lightweight wheels, a digital instrumentation display, Brembo brakes with dual front discs and a single disc in the rear, a two-piece dual seat, a 43mm Marzocchi upside-down, fully-adjustable front fork and a Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock with a progressive linkage as a rear suspension.
