The Ducati Superbike 999R Xerox was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Ducati in 2006. Max torque was 8.78 ft/lbs (11.9 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 144.43 HP (107.7 KW) @ 9750 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 104.0mm bore x 58.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/50-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a öhlins 43 mm upside-down fully adjustable fork with tin surface treatment, for radial calipers while the rear was equipped with a progressive linkage with fully adjustable öhlins monoshock. The bike weighed just 399.04 pounds (181.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.
